Its been about three weeks since I returned from my first portfolio review, “Photolucida,” in Portland, OR. Although I’m still processing all the incredible information I gained during the four days, I can say it was an extremely valuable experience and I couldn’t be more appreciative of all the Photolucida organizers and reviewers that made this event happen.
As a first-time participant, the emotions were running high, and in many different directions; luckily I was able to lean on my two photo sisters Anne Connor and Carolyn Knorr. I know it would have been a completely different experience without them and I thank them for their support and camaraderie. I’m looking forward to distilling all the advice and knowledge that was shared with me in Portland and translating it into more refined and effective images. Thank you Photolucida 2019 for this opportunity!
