Water is Life Exhibit at the Overture Center for the Arts, Madison, WI.

I'm very excited to announce I have two images displayed in the upcoming Water is Life exhibit,
co-curated by Anne Connor and Carolyn Knorr.

The exhibit runs from Tuesday March 13 - Sunday, June 3 2018 at the Overture Center for the Arts, Gallery I, in Madison, WI. There will be a reception on Friday, May 4th from 6-8 p.m. Please stop by!

Water Is Life:
Water. It sustains us, cleanses us and quenches our thirst. In the no-too-distant past, clean water was considered an endless resource. Recent developments from the Flint water crisis to pipeline protests are raising concerns about access to and quality of water, for current generations.

I’ve always wanted to try hand-tinting photographs and finally got my chance this past summer at @santafeworkshops where the outrageously talented @katebreaky was teaching her class. Had a blast trying a completely new technique while learning from a master.

Another collage I created with @hollyrobertsstudio during her @santafeworkshops. Experimenting with paint and photography simultaneously opened my mind to so many new possibilities for my work!
